Fast forward two years
Has it really been that long? So many things have changed since my last time here, two years ago. I am still the same in many ways, yet parts of me are so different that I cannot believe they are parts of me. I'm working now, which is good, because I feel more independent, more confident. I recently celebrated my 25th birthday and it was rather wonderful with surprises, treasure hunts, friends and love. My brother has just returned from a semester in Korea. He is in university now. They do grow up fast. My mum and dad are good. Things have been smooth-sailing since we moved near the sea, away from the ruckus of the city. My commute to work lasts just ten minutes, which leaves me some extra time for myself. I've started drawing again and I'm trying to get better. The things that I loved as the kid I was when I started this blog do not seem that important to me anymore. Life is definitely more real than the safe bubble I lived in. It's the few people around...
